Labs & Support
Everything students and administrators need to run the remote practice environment.
Remote practice lab
Labs run on a browser-based remote desktop gateway. No local SAP GUI installation is required — open the lab, sign in with the credentials issued by your trainer, and start practising.
Open default practice labAccess rules
- Lab credentials are personal — do not share them with other students.
- Sessions time out after inactivity; simply reconnect from the course page.
- Always log off the SAP system before closing the lab tab.
Troubleshooting
- Lab not loading? Refresh once, then try a different browser or network.
- Video not playing? Use the "Open in Drive" fallback link inside the player.
- Blank remote desktop? Disconnect and reconnect the lab session.
- Still blocked? Contact your trainer with the course name and lesson number.
Admin notes
- Courses are defined in the local course data file; add new entries to publish more courses — the catalog scales to 100+ courses without layout changes.
- Lesson videos must use the Drive
/previewURL format so they embed in the modal player. - Each course carries its own
labUrl, so per-course lab gateways can be assigned later.
